Whats better a washer dryer or a washing machine and a dryer?

I’m looking to buy a machine but i’m unsure what . Would i be better off buying a just a washing machine and a seperate dryer or should i buy an all in one washer dryer.

Any one know of any good models also.

I have a washer dryer and so wish I bought them separately.If I have a lot of washing to do,I cannot put another wash on until the dryer finished.If i had separate machines I could be drying and washing at the same time.I also find the dryer leaves white fluff inside,not ok when you put on a dark wash,the clothes are left with white bits on it.Now I just use the washing machine and dry the clothes on the washing line and then on to the heater.
