Washer motor, electrical issues?
I’ve got a new-ish Frigidaire stacked washer and dryer. Tonite, the unit started to make a clicking noise. The washer then began to run intermittently then came a slight burning odor so I decided to shut that puppy down. I narrowed the odor down to the motor, but didn’t notice any visual signs of burning. All connections are clean and firmly connected. The motor was also hot to the touch.
Are these symptoms of an electrical issue with the unit, or with the wiring in the house? The receptacle that the unit is plugged into shows no signs of anything wrong, there’s no burning and no loose connections, and is not hot. Please advise.
Probably the timer burned out, maybe its just a fuse. Check the electrical board for a burned out section. Good luck.
