1992 nissan 4 cylinder into a ride on john deere tractor?
For my project in auto class we are trying to get a 1992 nissan truck engine into a john deere ride on lawn mower. Everything is free. So is this possible, if it can be done how do we go about finding a driveshaft to connect the engine to the wheels?
I would use the truck axle (shortened of course) on the mower. Then, just connect the tail shaft of the trans right to the axle. If you try to use a riding mower axle, I feel that your would run into too many difficulties trying to fabricate adapters and such.
