radiator fan sensor switch, switch on temperature..?

i just replaced the fan sensor switch. the one that was on the bike would switch on the radiator cooling fan at 100*C the one i replaced it with switches on the fan at 85*C.. does this effect any other part of the cooling system? i would like to know if putting a 85*C instead of a 100*C is ok. i just want my engine to run a bit cooler..

Bikes have been my passion for 25 years and I’ve done all my own work.
Unless you live somewhere extremely hot all the time and the bike is overworked I would re-install the proper one for the bike.
Seldom do motorcycle manufactures offer options on their cooling system components.
Run fresh, properly mixed coolant. Be sure to flush the system once every few years.
If anything perhaps a cooler thermostat if one is available.
