Tecumseh won’t prime engine?
I have a Sears Tecumseh 6.75 mower that wouldn’t stay running without being manually primed. I took the carb off and removed the bowl and sprayed cleaner into every nook and cranny I could. Put it back together (with original gaskets) and now it won’t start at all. There does not appear to be fuel coming when the primer bulb is pressed. Any suggestions?
The carburetor needs to be properly cleaned. That is, removed, taken apart, soaked in a good parts/carb cleaner and put together with a rebuild kit. By what you said there is something in the carb.. It would run with the primer, you took it apart and now it won’t run at all. Clean the carb properly and it will run good as new.

The Life of Tecumseh and His Brother the Prophet $42.84 This is the story of Tecumseh, Chief of the Shawnees, who organized a Confederacy of Western Indian Tribes in order to resist further land cessions to the white man. Knowing of the growing tension between England and the United States, he looked to Britain for aid which she was willing to supply.
