can i wear nickel earrings if my ears are able to handle the white gold starter studs from claire?

the thing is i got my ear lobes pierced at Claires about half a year and more now. and i had my starter studs (13mm white gold) on the whole entire time ( i haven’t took them out yet, since i haven’t bought any earrings yet) these earrings are great, i had a few minor ear infections (gone after 1 day) during my 1st month of piercing and a couple months back cause i didn`t clean my ears properly but i did not experience any any allergic reactions to the studs so i guess i’m okay with white gold in my ears. (btw does anyone know if my starter studs from claire contain any nickel content in it) my starter stud package (contains the white gold earrings + 2 bottles of 4oz. ear antiseptic) costs $26.00 CDN. i often hear that claire’s earrings are made with cheap metal such as nickel, so if my ears are fine with the starter studs, does that mean my ears are okay with nickel as well?

have you ever had allergic reactions to other cheap jewlery? Just because you’re ears are ok with white gold doesn’t mean they’ll be ok with nickel…I would look for earings that say “nickel free”…target has a great selection of these
