new cub cadet mower blowing smoke?
i just bought a cub cadet mower late last fall it has a 25 horse kohler motor, it has 5.8 hrs on it,, it smokes “burns oil” somtimes when i start it, doesnt happen every time,i changed the starter oil in it at 5hrs,its not overfull.dealer said it was typical of kohler motors to smoke up to 50 hrs.until rings set..doesnt sound right to me..
i put in the recomended oil,but it was smoking with the starter oil in it also.
choke isnt the problem it does it when warmed up and doesn’t need choke to start.thank you all for ansering i have $2,800 invested in this mower,never had problems with briggs straton engines so it seemed a bit odd..
