I have a semi feral that I am trying to socialize and need help.?

I have been working with her for 7 months, and she now will come toward me for food, occassionally let me hand feed her treats, but she still hisses at me and won’t let me touch her….we rescued 2 other kittens with her that were younger and they are fully socialized. My question is how do I get her to the next level…..or am I being too impatient or unrealistic? The other 2 are fully integrated into our house and are allowed to roam free 24/7. But we still keep her isolated part of the time, since we don’t want her to hurt our other animals or be hurt by one of them.

I have 3 male cats. I got rescued Spunky (now 7)when he was only 10 days old, so he was easy to domesticate. Spaz (now 5) was 5 months when we caught him. He is still a shy cat that only wants attention when he wants it.
Orange Kitty was my rescue feral. He had been wild in my backyard for 3 years. One day he came up with his face ripped off. I caught him in a kind care trap, and brought him to the vets to be put down. The vet thought that he could save him. Well, 30+ stitches in his face and gums, lost all but 6 teeth, neutered, de-flead, shot…and only $40.00 later, he survived. We had to keep him in a large kennel for 3 weeks while his faced healed. Then it the basement for a month till he stopped being scared of the other 2 cats. Over time, less then 3 months, he was finally okay enough to let us pet him, then a bit later, pick him up…now, 1 1/2 yrs later, he is the biggest, pain in the butt. He never leaves you along, sleeps on you, and plays a lot.
BK (yes, for Black Kitty) is another feral female cat. We took her and her 4 kittens in on 8/19/07. And even though she see us play with her kittens, she has been fixed, she will not let us pet her or pick her up. The most she will let us do is play with a cat toy with her. She will sleep near us, but she runs if we try to pet her.
I guess the only advise I can give you is that it takes time. And even then, some feral cats will never want to be a part of the household.
