where is the best place to get an engine overhaul kit from?

i want the best quality kits i can get. a good price is a secondary option
i’m looking for master kits i want the whole thing. and where to get a 383 stroker kit for the 350? not to race just to go faster and get out the hole quicker.
mrfreddy, Cadillac has been changing piston ring combinations for quite some time on these motors. It’s very important The steel sleeves have the correct honed finish and the best machine to do this job is a Sunnen honing machine.
What do you intend to do with your 383? Go to your local Chevrolet dealer parts counter and pick up the 2008 copy of the GM Performance Parts Manual. It costs a whopping $5.00. In that catalog there are several levels of horsepower 383 engines. You can pick and choose parts to make a winner starting with the cylinder heads and camshaft. If your present block has a standard hydraulic roller camshaft so much the better. GM makes several torque grind upgrades.You will have to do some machining inside your block at the oil pan parting line between the main bearings for rod bolt clearance as the crankshaft spins.
Personally I don’t care for engine kits of any kind. You never know exactly what you’re buying.
