Why does magic chef mini fridge make noise?

I have a brand new Magic Chef mini fridge that make a loud clicking noise every 5 or so minutes, followed by a loud sound coming from it. I wanted to know if this is normal for these fridges or if there is a way to stop it. Thanks so much

That is probably the noises of normal operation, if it is brand new, it MAY get quieter, but I doubt it, if it cools properly thatis probably the noises the machinery makes.
