Tecumseh 8HP HMSK-80 Engine idle Problem?
I have a 8HP HMSK-80 that does not idle it will run fine at full throtal but will not idle it will only idle when the choke is inguaged when i start it up it will run for about 5 seconds then shut off so i have to put the choke on or put the throtal all the way up for it to run after tuning it of about an hour i bought a carb rebuild kit for it and changed every thing but the welch plugs and it still runs the same so if any one knows what the cause of this my be could you please tell me
could be somthing as simple as a clogged up exhaust dude.Its a common thing in two strokes.The wire baffles become clogged up and they wont run unless you use choke or full throt.Changing welch plugs do nothing.
