igniter in Whirlpool gas dryer wouldnt come on replaced with new ignitor still no fire?
Why isnt the ignitor and therefore burner not working on my Whirlpool gas dryer model # LGR7648KT2. replaced old ignitor with new but still nothing. Gas on and electric motor turns drum but no ignitor glow so no fire
Why did you replace the igniter? Was it physicly broken? Don’t assume that if a gas dryer does not heat that it is the igniter. Take a look at the thermal fuse. That is more than likely your issue. Other things that could be your problem are…

I’m assuming that there is no power going to the igniter.
