what is the job of an idler pulley?
i have a mazda protege 94 and supposedly needs an idler pulley but i really dont kno what that is. my car keeps shutting off when slowing down and thats what i have been told by somebody but i wanna kno what is the job of the idler pulley? and what really is an idler pulley
Idler pulley keeps constant tension on timing belt or serpentine belts.To be sure,you should have your car checked out by a mechanic.Sounds like there’s some thing else happening.Check engine light coming on?If so ,have the code read.
