Where can I find a service manual for a general electric flatplate ironer from the 1940″s?
I bought this ironer which is in great shape. My husband laid it down when he picked it up and alot of oil(?) ran out of it. It came with instruction manual but nothing there tells where or how to put this fluid back. Could possibly be hydraulic fluiid? I don’t want to use it until I figure this out, per chance that the machine would be ruined.If anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated;
Your ironer is already considered historic. GE will be very interested in getting it to work again. Offer them to do a story about it – how great their quality and service is
