How do I replace the belt in a top load maytag washer. This model has only 1 belt for motor, pump,agitator .?
model: SAV515daww. I do not see how how to fit the belt around the pump pulley without pulling it apart; Three pins are holding it to the motor and preventing me from accessing it. Help is greatly appreciated.
On this model you need to remove the motor assembly and remove the three screws holding the pump to the assembly. The three screws have a torx head so you will need the torx tool to remove the screws.
