trouble installing amana washer belt ,help?
amana washer, model alw880qaw,removed bottom panel,found broken belt,removed motor,water pump,put on new belt around motor pulley, idler pulley,reinstalled pump but have trouble fitting belt around transmission pulley.any suggestion or secrets?
I am not sure about about your machine but most machines have the idler pulley as a tension pulley. If you can loosen that pulley or remove the spring until you get the belt on and then put the spring back on. That should work?
