Cooling Unit

We have a Trane XE80 heating and cooling unit that blows hot air when you set the thermostat to 75.?
What does it mean? For example 2 hours ago today we put the A / C in 75 and still shows 80. Could it be that it takes much longer to cool because it was 85 degrees and humid today Milwaukee, WI?
Make sure your unit is running when OD A / C should be on.If this is not the first step is to check the switches on the panel, if ignited all, have someone from the unit moves and TSTAT setting down and see if there is a click to change the picture, not occasionally, but until down.if and has a basement, check if you have a condo. drain pump / c of water, if theres no security in the pump to stop the a / c to go, if you look at the top, water should be about 2 inches below the top cover and the float Security opened the circuit.hope help
