Stainless steel is bad for babies?

Looking for something to store the boiled water to make Baby Sport. I was looking for a glass jar, but has found one of stainless steel. Stainless steel has chemicals in the water if I put there? If you have a link to research or information on this would be appreciated.

I Tap water for my 8 months. If you can not use the faucet and then just use the stainless steel pitcher. I wonder if they are worried that 20 years ago when I was born, hmmm?
