Can damage the fan motor to reverse the voltage?

The car is a '99 Cavalier and I have to clean some trash (leaves) in the A / C ducts. I put the fan motor, the other day and removing some leaves, but soon after, ducts were blocked again and the air is not blowing much. If you invest clean the engine and chassis fan once again, it seems that this will take care of the problem, but I'm not going to damage the engine or even work. The engine is isolated from the body (has a separate ground son) and I can easily wire back. Being a student in a house with 5 kids, we have no air compressor or vacuum …

To reverse the motor is connected in reverse, a problem that you have a positive ground vehicle and the engine must be isolated from the car body does not short circuit. If you have already removed the engine fan, just go ahead and use a leaf blower or vacuum to remove remaining debris. I vacuum and Blow It Out to try and remove all debris. You may be able to get through the debris fan cover, because that's where pulll air.
